Our Digital Marketing students enjoyed an engaging guest lecture given by Cheil Worldwide Insights Planner Leah Ahn last week. Cheil Worldwide is part of the Samsung group.
Leah covered a range of topics, from digital marketing frameworks to real-world case studies, looking at campaigns by Samsung, Air New Zealand, and Tourism NZ. She also touched on common pitfalls and how to avoid them when developing campaigns.
Students then took part in a hands-on activity centred around a Whittaker’s Chocolate campaign. The session concluded with a Q&A session.
Our Digital Marketing students are currently in the final stages of writing a report on developing a digital promotion and communications campaign for a New Zealand business of their choice.
They enjoyed hearing about Digital Marketing in the real world and benefitted from Leah’s expertise.
