Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management
Iran
Saeed Areffard is a front-end developer by profession and is studying the Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management online through OPAIC.
Saeed says he has so far enjoyed his first online course, Research and Enquiry, with his amazing professor Bing Dai.
He loves actively participating with fellow students from different nationalities during the sessions and finds it interesting to learn in English.
Saeed holds a bachelor’s degree in IT from the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and comes from Shiraz which is one of the most beautiful towns in Iran known for gardens, flowers, and poets.
He says he has a strong interest in management and plans to use his postgraduate certificate as a pathway into the Master of Applied Management in Business Information Systems.
He intends to come to New Zealand when border restrictions allow, in order to study, work, and create a better future for himself and his family.
Along with pursuing further studies in New Zealand, he is extremely keen on visiting the country to experience its rich culture, meet its people, and appreciate its scenic nature and amazing views.
Saeed says he is strongly motivated by the idea of living in a better place where he can evolve as a person and a professional.
“It is necessary to keep yourself motivated to overcome barriers in life.”
Saeed also possesses a hidden talent for playing Iranian instruments and has played the setar for several years.
OPAIC wishes Saeed all the best with his current and future study plans and we hope to see him playing setar on campus soon.
