Trish Chaplin-Cheyne

My role is to be responsible for developing and implementing the learning and teaching strategic direction and work plan and to ensure that Otago Polytechnic's programmes and courses are designed to best practice standards, that our academic staff have the full range of knowledge and skills needed to facilitate learner success, and that learners enjoy an outstanding experience with Otago Polytechnic. I am editor for Scope: Learning and Teaching and a member of various polytechnic-wide committees, task groups and panels. I love the diversity my role provides. Each day there are challenges and each day there are rewards. I joined the OP Learning and Teaching development team in September 2015. Prior to this I was a facilitator at Aoraki Polytechnic and was part of a team responsible for undertaking quality assurance.
