Atek Ullah
Atek studied a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in New Zealand in 2017. Prior to that, he completed a Diploma in Hotel Management in Malaysia, which gave him a strong foundation to start his career.
He brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, mainly in management roles. He’s worked with well-known 5-star hotel brands such as Hilton, Chateau, and Quest, where he developed strong leadership and customer service skills.
In 2024, Atek moved into the education sector, working as a Registry Administrator for over two years, before moving into an Enrolment Specialist role.
Having been an international student himself in New Zealand, he understands how overwhelming things can feel at times. His goal is to support each learner with understanding and empathy, and to help them feel confident, comfortable, and well-guided throughout their journey.
Outside of work, Atek enjoys playing badminton, and watching documentaries and football. He loves travelling and really enjoys exploring new places and experiencing different cultures and food.
Atek is passionate about helping students succeed and always tries to put himself in their shoes so he can give the best possible support. He believes that understanding their journey makes a real difference.
