Symposium celebrates diversity and purpose

Auckland International Campus Corporate Relations Partner Anna Freeman had the privilege of attending the Ethnic Exchange Symposium 2025 last week.

The Ministry for Ethnic Communities’ annual Ethnic Xchange symposium is New Zealand’s premier business event focused on ethnic entrepreneurs, innovators, businesses and the markets they are connected to.

The Ethnic Xchange 25: Going for Growth – Expanding Ethnic Enterprises (EX25) held on Friday was the second annual business symposium.

The event is designed to support the progression of ethnic entrepreneurs, innovators and businesses by focusing on global trade and connections, innovation, AI and investment.

Anna says it was an inspiring experience filled with diverse, purpose-driven people committed to building more equitable pathways, more successful businesses and to shaping a stronger, more connected Aotearoa New Zealand.

“The conversation, ideas, and energy in the room were awesome,” she says.

A special highlight was connecting with new friends who share her passion for inclusion, leadership, and impact.
