AIC celebrates Career Expo volunteers
The Employability Team hosted a special lunchtime celebration last week to acknowledge our incredible student volunteers who helped bring the AIC 2025 Careers Expo to life.
Over shared kai, volunteers enjoyed an inspiring talk from guest speaker Paul Ding, Business Broker at ABC Business Sales.
Paul shared his career journey, offering real-world insights into the business landscape and answering thoughtful questions from our students.
His key messages included:
- Career paths aren’t linear: expect twists, turns, and growth opportunities along the way. Resilience is essential.
- Networking matters: especially face-to-face. Paul encouraged students to connect with Kiwis and seek out conversations with experienced professionals who often hold the pathways to new opportunities.
It was an enjoyable afternoon of recognition, learning, and connection, and a huge thank you again to our volunteers for their contribution to this year’s expo. We couldn't have done it without you.
