Construction students gain industry insight at Beca
We had the opportunity to take our Construction students for a guest lecture and office tour at Beca Group recently.
Principal Lecturer Omer Altaf says it was an insightful experience where students were exposed to real-world projects and gained a deeper understanding of professional practice.
The team at Beca shared valuable perspectives on industry expectations, collaboration, and innovation in the built environment.
Our students were particularly impressed by the work culture and the scale and impact of projects being delivered. Experiences like this play an important role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practice.
A big thank you to Matias Kaufman for hosting us and making this session so engaging and informative.
