Alumni mentor guides students toward internships
The Employability Team was delighted to host a lunchtime session with Jose Alonso Molina (JAM) last week.
JAM is an AIC alumnus, writer, and guest speaker. He delivered his workshop, titled Get the Internship You Want, to our students on campus last Tuesday.
Students gathered on Level 1 for an engaging, hands-on session where JAM shared practical strategies for finding purpose, building confidence, and taking meaningful action toward securing internships and future roles.
The workshop was highly interactive, with students taking part in guided written exercises designed to help them clarify their ‘why’, reflect on their career direction, and understand how consistent, actionable steps can turn ambitions into reality.
The session equipped students to:
• Discover their purpose and align it with their career aspirations
• Strengthen their professional self-presentation
• Apply practical tools and steps to pursue the internship or role they want
A big thank you to all the students who joined us and to JAM for delivering such an inspiring and energising session.
