AIC Quantity Surveying Students Support NZIQS at NZIBES Exhibition
Students Pinpin Jiang (Doris), Tianyi Yin and Zhenhua Shu (Vicky) recently supported the NZIQS Stand at the NZIBES Exhibition at Due Drops Event Centre. They engaged with students, visitors, and industry professionals interested in learning more about the Quantity Surveying profession.
With the support and encouragement of their lecturer, who is a member of the Auckland NZIQS Committee, Doris and Tianyi took the opportunity to share information about NZIQS and discuss the role of Quantity Surveyors within the construction industry.
As Quantity Surveying students, they found the event to be a valuable opportunity to connect with industry professionals and speak with students and visitors interested in the profession. Doris noted that she particularly enjoyed promoting NZIQS and discussing career opportunities in Quantity Surveying. The experience also helped both students strengthen their communication skills, build confidence, and gain valuable industry exposure.
