I completed my PhD in Social Sciences and Public Policy (Migrants' Entrepreneurship Management) from AUT, Auckland in 2016 and graduated in 2017. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Research and Analysis from AUT in 2013.

 I also hold a Master in Business Administration Management from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, and a BSc in Economics Education (Hons) from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria.

Prior to immigrating, I was a lecturer of Economics, Business and Education at Ado-Ekiti University from 2002 to 2008. While completing my PhD I was a graduate assistant at AUT, and a part-time business lecturer at NTEC and Imperial College Auckland.

I worked as a full-time management and business lecturer at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) from June 2015 to September 2018, and taught Postgraduate Diploma International Business, Graduate Diploma Business and Management, and Bachelor academic programs.

I’ve supervised master theses at the Southern Institute Technology, co-supervised master theses at Monash University in South Africa, and examined master theses from the Eastern Institute of Technology.

I am a multidisciplinary researcher. I’m passionate about academic research writing, not only because it is mandatory for PhD research completion nor because NMIT made it mandatory as research output, but because it is necessary in order to be relevant in academics, have an impact and share knowledge. 

My productivity and high output in research and publication resulted in me being awarded the rank of Emerging Researcher by the New Zealand Tertiary Education Commission’s Performance Based Research Fund in 2018.

I have collaborated with other researchers and co-authored with three post graduate students.

I’m a Member of the Research Association of New Zealand; a Conference Committee and Editorial Board Member of the Institute of Research, Learning & Development; Editorial Member of the Science Journal of Business and Management; and Program Committee Member of the International Conference on Intelligent Computing Systems and Data Analytics Application.
